App: LinkVpn
Package: com.free.link.vpn

1. LinkVpn cannot connect

  1. Confirm the device can access the Internet without LinkVpn.
  2. Return to LinkVpn and choose a different available server.
  3. Try another connection option shown on the home screen.
  4. Disable battery saver or data saver temporarily and try again.
  5. Update LinkVpn through the official Google Play listing.
  6. Restart the device if Android still shows an old VPN connection.

Network blocking, server maintenance and poor connectivity can affect individual locations. A server shown in the list may become unavailable before the next configuration refresh.

2. VPN permission does not appear

Android allows only one active VPN service for the current user profile. Stop another VPN, firewall or local filtering application before starting LinkVpn.

If permission was previously denied, open Android Settings, find VPN settings and remove any stale LinkVpn profile before trying again. Menu names vary by device manufacturer.

3. Connected but websites do not load

  • Disconnect, choose another server and reconnect.
  • Check whether the affected app has been excluded from LinkVpn.
  • Temporarily disable Private DNS or another local network-filtering app to identify conflicts.
  • Try both Wi-Fi and mobile data if available.
  • Check whether only one website is affected; the destination may be unavailable independently of LinkVpn.

Do not install unofficial modified APK files offered by third-party websites. They may contain altered network or advertising code.

4. App exclusion

Apps selected in the LinkVpn exclusion list bypass the VPN on the next connection. Disconnect and reconnect after changing the list.

System apps are not displayed in the exclusion screen. An app that was uninstalled may disappear automatically. Excluding LinkVpn itself is not supported because the proxy core must remain able to reach its entry server correctly.

5. Notification and background connection

LinkVpn runs a foreground service while connected. Android may show a persistent VPN or service notification. This is expected and provides a direct way to see or stop the connection.

If the connection stops when the screen turns off, allow LinkVpn to run in the background and remove manufacturer-specific battery restrictions. Notification permission affects app notifications but Android may still display system VPN status.

6. Advertising and consent

LinkVpn is supported by advertising. An advertisement may be unavailable because of network conditions, regional inventory, consent settings or provider limits. Ads are delivered by third-party providers and are not guaranteed on every request.

Privacy and advertising choices may be presented in the app where required. See the Privacy Policy for the providers and data categories involved.

7. Contact support

Email [email protected] and include:

  • LinkVpn version;
  • Android version and device model;
  • whether you were using Wi-Fi or mobile data;
  • the selected server and connection option;
  • the exact step where the problem occurred; and
  • a screenshot of the visible error, if it contains no sensitive information.

Do not include passwords, payment details, full advertising identifiers, private server credentials or unrelated personal files.
